Read MoreDespite the fact that body temperature is one of the four fundamental vital signs, medical teams rarely take patients’ temperature. We started wondering why and we quickly came to a conclusion that lack of appropriate equipment constitutes the main obstacle. That’s where the idea for HopeTherm came from. And then a reflection came: if we have a tool to diagnose hypothermia, how can it be prevented? In case of some patients, loss of body heat is so overwhelming that traditional methods of thermal insulation may prove to be insufficient. Another challenge is to create a good heat-insulating material that would meet the needs of medical rescue.
